Refund policy

Returns & Refunds Policy:
         Digital Droid will happily refund or replace any returned items with the prevision that the following terms and conditions are met,
           
1.1. Validity Period:
         Our returns policy is valid for 30 days. Once a 30 day period has passed since your date of your purchase a refund or exchange is no longer offered and/or valid.

1.2. Completing your return:
          We require a receipt or proof of purchase along with the product and a detailed email or signed letter of why the product is being returned.
          Please do not send your purchase directly back to the manufacturer.

1.3. Conditions for Partial Refunds - There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
           -Books with obvious signs of use
           -CD, DVD, software, video games, or vinyl records that has been opened
           -Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
           -Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

1.4. Refunds (if applicable)
           Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection
            of your refund.
            If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of
            days.

1.5. Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
          If you haven’t received a refund yet:
                 1.5.1. Double check your bank account.
                 1.5.2. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
                  1.5.3. Contact your bank - here is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
          If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@digitaldroid.co.za
          Digital Droid will endeavor to keep you updated with regards to your refund or exchanged items..
          
1.6. Sale items (if applicable)
         Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

1.7. Exchanges (if applicable)
         We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@digitaldroid.co.za and send your item to:

1.8. Gift Refunds
        1.8.1. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased, it was shipped directly to you and you need to return it as it is defective or damaged - you will receive a gift credit for the
                  value of your return. Once the returned item is received and checked by Digital Droid, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
         1.8.2. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later and the item is returned as it is
                   defective or damaged - we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
         1.8.3. Gift Cards / Vouchers cannot be exchange for cash.

1.9. Shipping
         To return your product, you should mail your product to:

        You will be responsible for the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be
        deducted from your refund.
        Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item , we insist on using a track-able shipping service
        or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
